yes only a 10 can bust you, so the odds are in your favor to improve your hand. 2's n 3's are not a bad card for a dealer we tend to make alot of hands out of it. 4-6 showing for us, id even think about doubleing down on a possible bust if your aggressive
I have seen that too. Also seen people hit hard 18, etc.
Doubling down on a 12 vs anything isn't being aggressive - it is being border line retarded. If you want to be aggressive spread to more hands and play accurately on all of them.
Another question i have.
Lets say I have 2 cards equal to 7 and the dealer is showing a 6.
Yesterday I DD for less since it was not a slam dunk DD like having an 11 against a 5 or 6.
If I was betting 25 I threw an extra 10 for the DD for less.
I was told if I was going to DD I should DD for the whole amount.
I was DD based on the strength of the DD.
If it was a great DD I bet the whole thing.
If it was a not so great DD I would DD for less.
Were they doing that just for attention or based on there strategy?
The guy a saw DD on the 15 yesterday knew better. He just wanted to show off on that hand.
it makes alot more sense to split tens vs the dealer with a 5 or 6 if you are the only one at the table
